OK I go to Massassi. Download a 3do that I like, make a project directery called ~put name here~ ok make 2 folders in that. 1 called mat and the other called 3do. I put the 3do's mats in the mat file, and the 3do in the 3do file. OK I save my level in the project directory. I check the Mats they are there. I check the 3do ITS NOT!!

1. Howdy! Welcome to Massassi. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

2. Did you make a template for the 3do? If not, read and follow the templates tutorials here at Massassi (there are 2 of them). Once you have your template made, it will show up at the very end of all the other templates (3do's) in the resource picker.

Mats for 3dos go in a folder called "mat" in the 3do folder. That doesn't explain why the 3dos aren't showing up. Run the JKTree plugin inside JED (under plugin menu) again and see if that fixes it.

Actually, 3do mats can be in either place.

In JED, I know I don't put the files in the directories. I just let JED do it. I put them in the main folder for the project. And, like the others said, you probably have no template or, it is the wrong parent. Make sure it is structure or walkstructure. If that makes it work, then change the parent to whatever you want if that isn't it. later! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I thought that was only true if you make the 3do. If you download the 3do, don't they have to be where the author put them? I've never experimented with it, so I could be wrong. Seems kind of silly to have two folders for mats...oh wait, its LEC. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
