Desperate HOM / Custom 3DOs

OK, on my new level for the His Dark Materials Trilogy TC (yes I am making it despite popular demand not to), every surface with a texture (it is 16-bit) has a transparent bit and causes massive hom problems. The consistency check shows nothing. Also, even though I've GOBbed my level, none of the custom 3DOs are working. Please help if you can.

You put those mats on unadjoined walls didn't you? JK is trying to look through the transparent part of your textures and sees nothing. Thus, you get HOM.

I also have a similar problem with my own costume 3do. The only thing is I don't know how to fix it.

Hmmm, can't answer all of those, but....

YOur 3do's may not be showing up because you may not have a parent for them (like structure etc...). Then, maybe Mike C is right. Let's see. Reply and let us know!

Fetch - if your problem is the same as halcyon described - just change your mats.

But it doesn't have a transparent part in it!

Secondly, what should the parents be for:

A chair
An elliptical table
A wardrobe

Sorry. From the first post it sounded like you had a transparent part of the texture.

If it is happening with just that one texture then there must be something screwey with the texture itself.

For all those 3do's the walkstruct parent template should be fine.

Just use _walkstruct for everything. Thats wot I do anyway. I have to many problems with other templates. To remove the metal floor flag though just use "add value" in the item editor to add "thingflags" and uncheck "metal".
