Do I need to fill in EVERYTHING on the Template Creator 'cause my 3dos don't show up in-game?

I'm assuming you're making a simple 3do, right? (like a chair or something)

All you need to do is specify a 3do, a name, and a parent. Then you save it insert your object, (which should now show up in the back of the template selector), and you're all set.

My 3dos a ship so would I select another ship (eg:crow) for a parent?

Did you make sure to hit Commands>Reload Templates?

The only things that have to be defined are:
1. The 3do
2. The parent template
3. The name of the template you are creating

I suggest you read the tutorials on templates here at Massassi. One of them (I think the second one but I'm not sure) describes the different parent templates and when to use each one.
