Is JOKE better than JED whan editing or making 3dos? I hear alot about JOKE but never thought much about it.

Um well joke is kinda confusing to use... Jed is better in my opinion except for the mat issue...

It's a matter of opinion. They are different types of editors. Jed is a sector based editor and JOKE is a node based editor. Use whatever you are most comfortable with. Personally I use a little bit of both of them.
