Not sure whether this falls under Cogs or Gen-Ed, but here goes:
I'm getting annoyed with using a limited amount of colors on the dlft.cmp for my skins. Is there some way that I can retain a CMP for levels while having a seperate CMP assigned to my skins?
I've already visited the Code Alliance (or what's left of it) and looked up the .JKL file. I'm not positive, but if I can assign 2 CMPs to a JKL, then editing the original levels is no prob. But then there's mod compatibility. Is there some sort of COG or other way of adding MySkin.CMP??
Compatibility of the CMP colors isn't a major problem, considering most Skins are made using the dflt.cmp, I used the last 3 lines to add my own colors. This leaves enough color spaces to add the colors I need without detracting from most skins(or at least quality-made ones).
Does any of this make sense? Has anyone had this idea before? Or am I overlooking a simple solution? Maybe I missed something... advice wanted, please! :-D
