I was just wondering, when the 30 day trial is over on PSP, does it stop working? I need to know rather than just find out 'cause if I did I would have to d/l 30MB with my primitive modem.

Yep, it does, although there is probably a way around it. I would suggest getting the GIMP, simply because it's free, and it's pretty good (not quite on par with photoshop or PSP, but close). You can get it at http://www.gimp.org . But make sure you download the windows version!

PSP works 60 days. on the 30th day there apears a red message that warns you at the start-screen.
i know somebody who wrote a little program that resets the date to day one. but if you want to stay legal, stop using psp after day 30, or buy it. (it's worth by that way)

PSP does not stop working after the 30 trial is finished, I am currently upto about day 361 of the 30 day trial.

That sometimes happens. Usually it stops working after 60 days.
