More polygonal rooms

I have a sneaking suspicion I know the answer to this already...

Is there a keyboard or menu command in JED that will align two objects (e.g. sectors or surfaces) together so that you can adjoin two surfaces easily?

I'm making a polygonal room and have no problems doing that, but when it comes to trying to align them and adjoin them, I don't seem to be able to - do I have to be really patient and do it by hand or can I use a tool I haven't found yet?

And just as a quick follow on - can I then merge all the sectors to make one big polygonal sector or is merging reserved for 3do use only?

How I miss the search tool!

Cheers

I don't know if there's an aligning key, (although that would certainly be nice...), but you can merge sectors for level use, just remember that the sectors have to be convex. (That means that there can't be any angles greater than 180 degrees.) And actually, it is better to merge as many sectors and surfaces as is possible (and then delete the extra vertices) as it helps keep the frame-rate down. But remember to keep the sectors (and surfaces) convex
