Error Message

1. When I try to load a 3do in the template creator I get an error message that says that JED can't find the mat for that 3do. I've tried this with 3 3dos, and it dosn't work. I've put the 3dos in "C:\Program\Jed\Projects\3do" and the Mats in "C:\Program\Jed\Projects\3do\Mats" or "C:\Program\Jed\Projects\Mats".

2. How should I know what template and parent template to use for downloaded 3dos?

Please help me.

1 make sure the mats used in the 3DOs are located in your project directory under "\3do\mat". If it doesn't work, make a new project directory with everything you need in it, level, 3do, mat, sound etc... the run jed, load the level, and select Create JK Tree frmo the plugins menu... Maybe this'll make JED realise that the files are really there.

2 If you want the structure to be walkable select "walkstructure" as template. If you want it to be walkable but make a metal sound when walking over them, select "Zwalkstructure".. At least.. I think thats it..

looks like you named the folder "mats" instead of "mat" -- that's a problem, use "mat"
