Ok, i am not the best person for thinking of new ideas, i dont think i am ver open minded. Anyway, i need a way to make a 3do move smoothly along a pre-defined path. When i say smoothly i mean no keys or frames.

any ideas people? I havent got any!

You're going to have to use keys or frames.

The best way to get it to move really smoothly is to create keys and just make the keys with very small changes.

is there any way to make frames so they dont stop and turn to face their new position everytime they turn?

From your wording it sounds like your talking about a path for an ai. Is that right?

No, actually it isnt a path for ai. What i am trying to do is get a mine cart to start rolling down a twisting mine shaft, carrying the player with it.

Well thin having it turn to face the new frame shouldn't even be an issue. You set the orientation with each frame. If it's turning to face a new frame and you don't want it to turn that far, you neet to put in more frames in between those 2.

No, i dont think you get it. The 3do stops. then it turns, then it starts again!

I can only think of 2 things.
1. You didn't listen to what I said. You need to use more frames in your turn.
2. You didn't set up your frames right in the first place.


Try posting a screenshot. Maybe then we can clear some of this up.

Ok, i chacked all my frames no problem. But i did find that if you set the move speed to 2 it works fine, but when it is at 20 it is screwy.
