Why wont this work: I choose a font, set the colour to red, put the font in my patch and when i see it in the game it goes orange!!

Why?!

it's on unicolor, but the weird thing is than on different screens its different colours, like its orange on the main menu, green on the multiplayer menu.. etc.

The font doesn't use the color you choose for it, rather it uses colors on the last two rows of the palettes you used for the loading screens and such. So, edit the palettes of your loading screens to get the colors you desire. Anyway, FontJedi isn't a great program for doing that sort of thing, its better to edit them in a paint program.

Ahh. then ive been doing things in the wrong order, i was going to do the menu screens after the font. so when i used fontjedi i had the default menu screens.
