I am working on a level with lots of conveyors, with parts dropping on to them. I was amking sure everything was right....and was watching the parts go by...then...they stopped. I looked in the dropchute, and there wasnt any part jams. I looked at the cog,(00_generator) and it should of been running for at least six hours! but it stopped in 5 minutes. It the Max alive numebr was the same as the number that were supposed to be produced.

why??

The Situation:
The Sv_SetBrushModel: Null error has occurred in my map. This means that somewhere in my level, there is a paper-thin prush that needs to be deleted. There are 2888 brushes in my level. That's chances of 1/2888 of finding the correct brush. The statistics say I have a .035% chance of finding it.
Did I find it?
You bet I did.

Did you destroy the things that were created after they went by? You might have run into a max things problem.

No, the objects being created cant even be touched. they are all throwable objects that are being created. my own custom, if that changes anything.

I don't think you understood me, but you did point towards the problem.

Just like there is a cog command to generate a thing, there's another one to destroy them. You need to use a cog that destroys the objects after they leave the area they drop into (where they go when you can no longer see them). JK can only handle so many things in a level. If you have this cog continually creating them it will hit a point where JK won't let any more objects enter the level.

Ahhhhh....
Be4 i go to the cog forum and make a fool of myself, i have another question:

Does this cog already exist in JK/MotS, or has somebody already made one?

my guese is it exists already in game or level 2 would go the same way as your level but im no expert

If you look at that level, you will probably find a cog that combined both the generation and destruction of those objects. I don't know what it is off the top of my head though.
