Glass Domes

Okay in my next level I'm going to make a glass dome that looks out into space. But when I try to maka a test glass dome to see how it looks I get sort of like a low HOM effect. Any suggestions?

is this with or without the space sectors adjoined? because if the space sectors are not adjoined the you'll get HOM. otherwise it nay be a problem with too many surfaces in view. I once made a VERY detailed canyon and it took hours, but when I ran it in JK I got tons of HOM and had to scrap the whole thing.

I tried this too, after episode 1 came out (gungan city), and I had problems with my test dome the same as you.
Its because transparency over another transparency causes this effect, its not exactly hom, but like flickering in and out of veiw, like 3dos laying across adjoins.

I believe it isnt fixable, Im not sure if its because of the game engine, or limitations of video cards.

It's not really flickering but it isn't totally HOMing because when I turn things don't go fuzzy. I will try again.
