I made some cool 16-bit saber mats,(Photo Realistic) but there is a black box around them. Any Ideas???

That might be caused by your saber .mat having black (translucent) surface. In regular mats, all areas that are completely black (000000) will be transparent, however, in JK, 16 bit mats can't be transparent. If that's the case with your saber, then your only option is to make it 8 bit.
