You have to make sure the model has the right mesh name. First, open up the 3do in JED, and select all the sectors, (there should be only one, since it's a 3do). Now hit enter, and change the layer to (I think) KYRHAND (I don't remember if that's right, but if it isn't, then someone can correct me...) Now, hit F4, and you will see a list of all the layers (there should be two, Layer0, and KYRHAND) Click on the button that says "Delete Unused." Now there should only be HYRHAND. Now, save the model as strv.3do I think that should help... The model should now show up in the internal view. You'll probably still need to do some tweaking to get it to line up properly, though... Some of the tutorials are *very* helpful when making new weapons...
