What would be the easiest way to do this?

I would like to use one of al's skins, the snow trooper to be exact, and turn it into an enemy. Would I just edit it in notepad like cut and paste?

The way I do it:

Let's assume you want to give the SnowTrooper the ST rifle.

Open an ST Stormy in Jed. Select it's Rhand/Weapon mesh, and copy it.

Open the SnowTrooper 3do, and paste the Rhand mesh into it. The trick is to multiselect all vertices of the mesh in order to properly position them with the wrist.

Save the new 3do. You may have to open the 3do in notepad to get the ST rifle textures to correspond with their listed numbers in the weapon mesh part of the 3do text. But I think Jed .95 has overcome that problem.

You'll definately have to change the 'Insert Offset' to
-0.000050 0.000000 0.120114
or the actor will be up to their knees in the floor.

This should all work out. I'm pretty sure that Jed .95's enhanced Actor support aleviates having to do everything in notepad.

There can be issues doing it that way (if you don't know what you're doing). I think someone already did snowtrooper enemies. Let me look around and see if I can find them.

OK, there are snowtroopers in Millhouse's Imperail Pack. I can't find a link to it right now. If you can't find it, email me and I'll send it to you.
