ok, I've made several new weapon 3do's. I want to use the basic projectiles from JK, but I thought, 'wouldn't it be neat to increase the damage amount and the speed of the shot?' So I took the templates out of master.tpl, put it in the static.jkl file, changed the necessary info, and loaded it up. Everything looks great, except for one thing; the projectile. It goes through walls now! No matter what I try, it keeps doing this when I use modified templates. They just won't hit anything.
I think it might be the collide box, but I'm not that good with templates, so I'm not sure. If I'm right, then how do I fix this? And if I'm wrong, then what's wrong now anyway?

There are many possibilities:

1) You need to add the sprites (and sound classes if needed) for the impacts in the sprites section (each has it's own header).

2) You have templates with the wrong names for either the explosion, the damage, etc. Basically, if you have a template called +mybullet that replaces the repeaterball, make sure all the references in the template line point to your modified templates.

3) Make sure that you have added all the parent templates of the weapons you are replacing, all the way up to the weapon, explosion, and debris types, and also make sure that they are in correct order. Paste them in the order that they are in the master.tpl file, 'cause that way is bulletproof.
