outside pyramid

Okay...I give up! I have been trying to create a pyramid (5 total sides) in an outdoor level. I tried creating a sector within a sector, and have tried the cleaving method. But I have not been successful. Does anyone have any advice here? I am exhausted and frustrated.

If your having that much trouble with it, just make it a 3do. You can't make a sector in another sector.

I thought about that. However, I would also like to include hallways and rooms inside the pyramid. I didn't think you can do that with a 3DO.

means "5 total side" 4 sides and a square bottom ?
if it's a pyramid with 5 sides (without bottom) you better ask you math-teacher how to calculate the vertices coordinates... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

it's not that hard. if you're trying to make it just a plain pyramid, make a 72 degree wedge (360/5)from top view, center it and look at it from the side view and make your slope. copy and rotate and put it together. you'll have to match the vertices to get it to line up, but that isn't hard. now, if you're trying to make one by cleaving out of some preeixisting architecture, that's harder. you have to know what you want it to look like before you start cleaving

this took about 10 minutes to do. the texturiing and lighting is crude, but you get the point:
