This question has probably been asked a thousand times and I will ask it again. How can I make my 3d0 NOT glow in the dark??

It's the way you have set up the template.

From the JK Specs:

Thing Flags
0x1 Emits Light

You probably have something like 'thingflags=0x20000401' - change the '1' at the end to '0'.
