Cool, me and another person are making a World War II mod as well. We are going to have historically accurate uniforms for skins, guns (and sounds of guns), and level.

We actually came up with the idea 3 years ago when we started playing JK. It was a fantasy then. But we are both into JED and stuff now and so we are persuing the project [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Hope yours goes well too.

Well, first off, I would like to inform you that I am the other guy associated with Sizzle in our current World War Two Mod.
I looked at your site, and mainly at the 'weapons' section. I found several mistakes. Let it be known: I have had an active interest in World War Two for a VERY long time. Ask Sizzle, or anyone else in our clan, The Rogue Commandos. I know three members personally, including Sizzle.

Mistake#1:
The M1 Grand Rifle

I think this was just a typing mistake, but it should be the M1 Garand Rifle. You noted that it had a slow rate of fire. The M1 Rifle was semi-auotmatic. Which means, as fast as you can pull the trigger multiple times, was as fast a round was fired. And also, where did you get that it was a faithful weapon of the Japanese army. The only time a Japanese soldier would have used an M1 was probably because he was out of ammunition. The M1 was never issued to Japanese troops.

Mistake#2
The Grand 43

Probably another typing mistake, but it should be Gewehr '4 (Gewehr is German for Gun). It was a semi-automatic weapon, not bolt-action.

Mistake#3
The Soviet Union 40 Rifle.

I have never heard of one of these. I have heard of an STV-40 semi-automatic rifle, used by the Soviet forces. It was not nearly as common as the Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 bolt-action rifle. For historical puposes, I recommend you change this weapon to the Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 Rifle.

Please don't take this in a bad way, I am just trying to help out. I think that Sizzle and I will change our mod from a plain World War Two mod to a World War Two: East Front mod.

There are a few more mistakes that I forgot to mention:

The Lee Enfiled Mark Rifle

Ok, whick Mark is this? A I? A II? A III? A IV? Keep in mind which were used in WW2... we'll see if you can figure it out.

The Springfiled 1903

No, you can not load a Springfield '03 from the bottom of the rifle. Unless you want to press your strippe clips and bullets on a solid piece of matter.

Again, I am only trying to help

P.S.- The m1 Garand rifle was not used by Japanese troops in WWII. Considering that the M1 Garand was released during WW2, I don't think the U.S. would send weapons to the enemy.

Well, I don't pay attention at all to the gun's historical accuracy or anything. I just play the game to have fun...=), so whatever you call it doesn't bother me.
