Ok
Here is the deal

I am trying to create a hanger.. I downloaded the TIE Launch Arm and the TIE Defender from Masssassi.. I raised the roof, hung the launch arm.. and placed the T/D approximatly where it would go if it were actually suspended..


now when I go into the hanger and try to force jump the computer hangs.. any ideas?

let me see if I got this right, you tried to make a hanger, when you go into the hanger your computer hangs. sounds like it's working ot me!

That happened to me on a saber practice level I was making. Not sure what the prob was. Just restarted, did it again, restarted then it was gone. So far at least... Not sure, but I have seen the problem. wish I could help. Try deleting the Ships and trying again.

Anything in the consistency checker?

Are you crossing any sector boundaries or anything odd?

It sounds like you may not have set up the templates for the new 3dos correctly. Follow the massassi template tutorials to make sure you did it right. (Or to check if you did it right, try deleting the new 3dos and then testing the level again. If it no longer hangs, you know the 3dos are the problem)
