I'm pretty new to mat 16 so it's probbably an error that I made.

Oh, another question, when I open up mat16, I get an error that says "I/O error 103" but it doesn't seem to make a difference when I'm converting the files. Could that error be causing the messed up mat?

I'm not sure what that error means, but I do recognize that mat. In fact, I have got a working mat from it (actually a multicelled mat with all the different versions of that screen). I can email it to you if you want.
