If you've got a specific question, you should ask it. People will be glad to help.

I doubt, however, that any editors are going to stop working on their projects and do yours instead.

That's basically doing your level for you...

Cog is not that hard! As far as languages go, it's the easiest one in existence.

If your having trouble with doors, that means that you're pretty much just starting out. You're getting a little too intimidated by some slightly more advanced aspects of editing.

This stuff takes time. You just learn a little more and more as you go.

OK, lets see if we can go one by one through what you need here.

1. Startup Cog - In Jed, open the episode editor (F8). There's a button in the bottom left corner that says "Create Startup Cog". Click on that, select the starting weapons you want the player to have, and hit the generate button.

2. Objectives - Get the plugging for Jed called GOAL!. It is a quick and easy way to create objectives.

3. Text Messages - Look in Massassi's cog section. There are a couple of text message cogs you can download and use.

4. Doors - go through the doors tutorial here at Massassi. If you have problems with it just post in this forum. Lots of people have trouble learning doors so don't get discouraged.

5. Cut-scenes - These get into more advanced cogging. I suggest you learn some cog basics and read the cutscenes MotS style tutorials before you tackle these.

I'll try to cog this summer, as summer vacation sets in this very day of Norway.
Ah, MikeC, I wanna thank you for engouraging me. Thanks. Anyway, I have used Goal! and now I can make objectives!! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] Yes!! It's great, only problem is, how do I make a objective and the level does not stop?

That's simple. In GOAL! it lets you set the option of weather or not you want to end the level after the objective was achieved(in the OnComplete section). It also lets you set a time delay between when the goal is done and when it ends.

If you are trying to put more than one objective in the level, just use the add goal button in GOAL. You can put as many in as you want.
