Does anyone know if there is a tutorial for making new items that you can pickup? If not, please feel free to lend a hand if you happen to know. Thanks. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I don't remember seeing one specifically on that. I think its covered some in the new guns tutorial.

Baically, you will need to set up the powerup template that includes the 3do and the powerup cog. Make the cog based on one of the existing powerups and change it so it gives you what you want. If there's anything new that gets picked up with it you may need to find an unused bin number to use too.

This depends on wheather it's an inventory item or just a simple powerup.

A normal everyday powerup only requires a 3do, cog, and template.

An actual item requires a BM, 3do, template, and both powerup and item cogs.

There are two options for implementation: Either replace an existing powerup by overwriting it's files, or add a new bin to the items.dat file.

Just look at how I did the SithCron. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I think I'll do that Rhettman, this stuff confuses me massively. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] Not really my area of expertise! Thanks for your help everyone.
