I have just downloaded and added 3do and all mats(ships)but when I put them in to the level in editor mode I can see them but when I start testing it they disapears this has happened to original THINGS too.

Hit F10. If it says something like "thing not in sector" or "thing not in designated sector" you need to make changes to their item editor settings. Here's how you do it:
1. Select the 3do in your level.
2. Hit enter to bring up the item editor.
3. Change the sector setting to the sector number that the 3do is in.

That's probably it. Let me know if it isn't and we can discuss other options.
