I am a newb lvl editor, so this may be a stupid question, but i am really stumped. I have made a stack of boxes in my level in order to jump on a catwalk, and the boxes keep disappearing whenever i cross a certain point in the level. i have included a before and after picture. Thanks.

ok i screwed up the second picture. if it dosen't work this time you can go to http://www.geocities.com/kotl_xavier/JSHOT020.jpg and get it. all thats happening is the black boxes are disappearing.

im not sure if this may be the answer to you're problem but are you sure that your thing is in only one sector? because if you look in your thing properties window it will say under sector the sector number you should see it in. if they're in two sectors you'll only be able to see it in the one in the Sector value

Most likely your 3dos cross a sector boundary. When that happens, if you loose sight of the sector their center is in, they will disappear.

Nope. I checked the boxes are in the same sector. Thats not the problem. Thanks though. if you want to arrange a time that we can meet on the zone so you can see for yourself contact me. i can put the Gob file up on my site later tonight. Thanks

Hmmm... let me know when you get it posted somewhere. I'll take a look at it and see if I can figure out why its doing that.

BTW, don't expect to find me on the zone much.
