I want to make sabers, but have no idea how. Is there a tutorial out there anywhere? And what program(s) do I need for it?

I've got a program called MatMaster, but I don't know if I need it for saber-making or not.

This tutorial explains how to make the saber selectable in the character menu. To make the saber itself, extract an existing saber mat from res2.gob to get the proper size, then edit it or change the color with a graphics editing program like paintshop or photoshop.
