I've just started using jed .95 and I've been getting this thing where two sectors will be adjoined on one side but not the other, for no apparent reason. In 3D preview this results in the sectors appearing adjoined from one side, but on the other is blocked off by the default yellow grid texture.
Why is this and how do I go about fixing it?

Select the surface which is the other side of the adjoin and set the Geo to 0

Its a bug in JED that hasn't been fixed yet. The sectors are really adjoined, but one surface is flagged to show the texture anyway. Do what TimeWolfOfThePast said to fix it.

BTW, is the guy still working on JED?

I doubt if he is. It was forever between .94 and .95 and the main reason .95 came out was to add 16 bit mat support and immprove the 3do making tools.
