Colormaps?
2001-12-09, 5:49 PM #1
Okay, I realise I am going out on a limb here... but is there any way to create my own colormap? I am dieing here, some of the things I've been working on in JED cant quite come together perfectly with the colormaps that are included with the game... I believe I have seen it done before in a big single player level pack for MOTS but I just cant be certain. Thanks.

Yes you can make a new colormap. Never done it myself so I don't remember exactly what program you need.

Have you considered using 16 bit mats? They get rid of the whole colormap issue. Of course that's assuming your machine can support them.

I have never even touched 16-bit mats. Ever. But, I suppose it's about time I take a look, no? hehe. Where can I read up on 16-bit mats or how I go about using them?
