Hi!
For thorough help, read my tutorial on it at my website!
Go the my website JK2 Mapping at:

Go to the "Tutorials" page and download the first "Doing" tutorial titled "Compiling & Packing Maps (PK3)"...
This will guide you from having a ".map" file to having a ".bsp" file along with extra map files in a final ".pk3" file!
