When I try to place a model in my map, I pick what I want from the open menu but when it tries to insert I get an error message, something like "failure to open folder" can anyone help?

Ok I am guessing your talking about map objects like chairs and trees and stuff. I am also guessing you have some sort of a map already made. Ok on the grid right click and go to misc then click misc_model it will pop up the screen and you will go to base/models/map objects/nar_shaddar (just saying nar shaddar for now you can use whatever models you want) It doesnt stop here, for me anyway [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] You have to reselect the misc_model entitie and hit N. When the entite editor pops up go down to the key and value place. It should already have something in it like.

C:\Program Files\Lucas Arts\Star Wars Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast\GameData\Base\Models\Map_Objects\nar_shaddar\cup.md3

well for some reason Jk2Rad cant handle that so change it to the dos kinda writing (cant think of the proper term)

C:\progra~1\lucasa~1\starwa~1\gamedata\\base/models/map_objects/nar_shaddar/cup.md3

That should make it show up in the editor and I am guessing it should work ingame. BUT! I cant get mine to work ingame so if anyone could tell us how to do it that would be great [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

If we have the same problem then there must be a solution because others don't have it, maybe its where we extracted the files maybe not.
