Problem 1:When I try to compile a map, Radiant opens the DOS window...
And doesn't DO anything.

Problem 2:I am supposed to put my new textures in the "textures" folder, right? Where's the "Textures" folder? Do I need to make one?

Ok, nevermind about the textures. Please, what is wrong with the compiler?

But nothing is happening in the DOS Window...

Give it 10 minutes, and if nothing appears in the box, then something is wrong. Try and reinstall it (And if you aren't using GTK go get it and use that.)

Or make your own bat file (Look in windows/temp/ for the one Radiant creates) and take out the 'junk.txt' part, so it'll put the output in the window.

Now it says "file creation error" three times.

Yeesh.

Remove the entire path that had junk.txt at the end of it. Completely. All you need is

<path to sof2map>sof2map -switches <path to .map file>

Three times, with three different sets of switches.
