I'm working on a plot for a Star Wars story set eight years after Jedi Outcast. I'm planning to make a series of single player levels where the player can take on different characters in the story. It will feature lots of real Star Wars characters and locales. I may re-do the plot but so far *watching resident evil on dvd* given me a new outlook to the term of this SP TC "the genesis project". Think of it, Genesis/Nemesis! lol. But I wont go to that. It will in fact involve cloning and secret weapons testing but to my consensis of what will happen will be like the idea of judge dredd *taking clones off of the host rico (dredd's evil twin) and cloning a mass army* As well the same idea on the metal gear.. But the idea on some plot does exisit thou I think it will not be the main part of the storyline just a back draft. Like a mad-man in the shadows causing all kinds of H E and double L. Which that I will think over for a good plot. Post on the MB and maybe we can work on this together *pry our minds together and such* or make your's and mine relate some-how? well its worth a try but meh lol. toodles!

I can't believe that no one seems to be interested in this. The plot fits very well
within the expanded universe. It is set between the end of the Young Jedi Knights series and the start of the New Jedi Order series, and one function of the plot is to give a reason for Leia's resignation from Chief of State. If I must, I'll post the backstory on my web page, but if anyone attempts to steal it I will ask that their work be removed from any website I find it. Just a precaution, not trying to be mean...

From what someone told me, George Lucas said only the movies are the official stories and nothing else. In my opinion, if your story conflicts with the star wars expanded universe it's not that big of a deal.

Well mine takes after the vong crisis too but its on a different story... sure there was a celebration after all that was gone but in the meanwhile factions of different systems where still at war and there is sith cults.. think of your every day cult with mass suicides but in this case its about, 1 sith lord, 3 sith apprentices, and alot of freakish followers . Then there is a small ship full of followers with a Jedi Knight as thier captin named Alex Valiance. He is to prove to the jedi council that he can take on the rank of master knight.. but he is to take his own paths and to where they lead might in fact end all corruption. But he has a twin brother named Jake Valiance who is in the sith cult. He is a Sith apprentice but that complicates alex's destiny... Yes, this is single player, it seems that there are about ten times as many story writers than anyone else that can work on a single player TC. The movie conversion TCs are getting a lot of attention, but I think this can be even better. The story is called "Remnants of the Empire", and as I said, takes place the year before the Vong crisis.

Mine takes place just a few years after.. *Alex and Jake being 22 and all...* But when both of them where 14 that was during the vong crisis so thier ya have it :P. but good idea's matt!

maybe, you guys could try changing your stories slightly to one you all can work on. boom you three would have a pretty good crew;
even if you guys are newbies at editing aspects, just that fact that 3 people are supportive of the project, its more likely people will join the group

Mine is before the Yuuzhan Vong and before Princess Leia's resignation. It would be great to combine our stories, but I'm planning on using only existing characters, with the exception of perhaps a new villain. There are some fantasy skins out that I think would be useful if we get permission to use them. For example, I created a skin called Sithtrooper, which has a place in my story, then I found one on one of the file sites that was about ten times better. Levels and cutscenes are the only thing I'm worried about right now. Also, I'd like to get some of the Star Wars characters who died in NJO (**SPOILER) like Anakin and Chewbacca into this game as player controlled characters.

Well I have been thinking of changing the story line yes... Alex and Jake are thought up characters but some of my clan (Bounty Hunters Arc) And allies are in this as different characters.. so meh, the vong crsis hadn't been put to a end yet... So I guess I will re-arise the idea of robots in use for troopers under factions at war... The Battle Droid Single-Player to be exact... It takes place during the vong crisis but not in the path of it. That or I can have local's go stir crazy on the fact that jedi's are evil and blah blah blah... lol

I think battle droids are the coolest cannon fodder enemy every created. They're fun to fight but you can slice them up without feeling guilty

Well with my TC it is taking place during the vong thingy *not after!* and the first lvl will be like a tactical/espionage/action *if ya play the games you know what game this is off of lol* type thing lol.. You are to sneak into a faction office as Alex Valiance... to find the latest dirt in a high classified operation going under way by a bio-weaponry faction joint with a unkown chain of factions/clients... Jedi council sent alex on his first mission alone as he just finished his jedi knight training... He is to infiltrait and find a plot that may revail deeper secrets then the vong species! Well the first lvl I started off with the end part of it but I am working my way errr.... down lol!
