Could someone please help me? I am new at this. Ok I notice in half the pk3 Folders there are 3 files. None of them say .map I dont think. But the program to make levels saves them as .Map files. How do i get it to work and how do I get it to turn into a MP level? Just wana test some stuff out thats all.

You have to compile them. The .map files are the "work in progress files." When compiled, they become .bsp files. It's been a while since i've used JOradiant, but in one of the menus, there is a "fullvis" option... this is the compiler.

well, if you used the program to make .maps, then you need to compile them.

http://richdiesal.jedioutcastmaps.com/tutorials/index.html - read thru the first block of tutorials to get a basic understanding of map editing in JK2

Shaving is not a high priority with Jedi.
Would you want to shave with a lightsaber?

I don't like quake, never liked quake, and don't like Star Wars quake. So basically jk2mp.exe never gets used on my computer.

Knowing this thread is toast... pk3 is still apart of editing thou [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]. We all know some cannot help it.. while others are just dim! This may be the wrong forum other then JO editing... but tut's some do not swear by... BTW... use winzip to PK3 things... make a folder in which you will have your files in... right click the folder with all the files.... scroll down to winzip... add to zip file... and .zip should be .pk3 if ya want it to work right [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif].
