What would be the best way to make a metallic fence. I am not really after barbed wire, but I do want it to be quite intricate. It is to put around a generator which is situated outside, hence the fence for protection.

make a long rectangular brush

if you want it to be like, chain link-ish

MaDa has a texture like that, that i got somehow just by downloading ASF2...... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/confused.gif]

dunno how, but it is crossbars, that is invisible in between 'em.

Yeah that is the kind of thing i am after, chain link, but not barbed wire. The sort of thing you would see all over the place, just a regular metallic linked fence.

1) to get it to work like a fence you will have to write a shader for it and convert it to tga format, and ... it has to have an alpha chanel.
