Ok I have this area where i want a nice, smooth, clean looking floor to stop and a dirty, metallic one to statr. This area where the 2 floors meet is in outside and there is they are on the same height level. So basially how can i sit them next to each other, but at the same time not have them looking, to put it bluntly, absolutely cackeroonie. Any thoughts on this litle quandry my little amigos hmm hmm????

put a ridge. a metal ridge/bump. or....maybe a pipe on the ground.....


you could add a slight elevation change w/ some stairs.

Use some nifty shader to blend one into the other one.

back when i was doing DoD maps, id make a custom "seam" texture that blends the two textures, then put that on the brushes that touch eachother

although, what saberopus said is probably the easiest thing to do
Shaving is not a high priority with Jedi.
Would you want to shave with a lightsaber?
