Bodies that stay? Old question?
2002-10-17, 8:54 AM #1
Hello, I am obviously a newbie. I have seen some info on how to activate the console: is ther some way to make dead enemy bodies stay permanently. I was wondering if there is a way to edit permanent corpses--or at least ones that stay for quite a bit longer?
I find the lack of persistence....disturbing.
Sorry if this question has been asked a million times.
Thanks.

You mean the dead bodies you killed in the game. I don't think there is such a console command for that. They disappear if the first place because they take of RAM and render speed, making the game quite sluggish if too many dead bodies were left behind.

In MP, it's called a Body "Queue" - you can raise it by modifying the code. It's 8 by default.
