I am currently making a medical centre of sorts on my map. I was trying to think what would be in it as i am basically onto the interior. So i wondered it's been a while since i saw star wars, so what does a full size bacta tank look like???? I think if i can remember rightly it was like a glass chamber with liquid inside, but i couldn't remember if it was a square shape or a cylinder.

Anyway I have lent star wars a new hope off a mate so i am gonna watch that and look for ideas. But if anybody can fill me in on this one, it would be appreciated.

cylinder. Pink fluid. Respirator mask hanging down. 2-1b or MD-1 standing next to it(gonna have to model that if you want).

OK well i got this red fluid texture off limelight.com. The glass cylinder is easy enough, I guess the respirator won't be too hard either, bit fiddly though. Dunno about that droid though, I have never done any modelling b4.

While your at it... why not allow the player to enter the bacta tank and gain health? If you want to know how to do that, just to this:

1) Create a "trigger_multiple" and fill the bacta tank with the trigger. Set the "wait" key to "0.5".
2) Create a "target_give" and make the trigger target this entity.
3) Place a "item_medpac_instant" in a place that isn't reachable or visiple by the player(s) and make the "target_give" target that. Set the count to something like 5 so the player gets five health per 0.5 seconds.

There ya go. Hope this comes in handy!

Cool, that would be great, i am going to look for a pic of a bacta tank. I made what i thought from what Saberopus said and it looks quite nice and Star Warsy. But if i don't do my homework ppl will winge lol.

That is fine that it is months away from being done, as i am doing a multi map mod, hopefully. Not unlike yourself i see, looks cool and also like you i am almost done the first level, but atleast another 2 maps to do.
