converting .bsp to .map

Well, I happen to have a flaky-arse version of Radiant (or somehting like that) which tends to crahs a lot (invariably I can't cleave cylinders. I had to create a cylinder wiht a donut-hole in it by hand). So there's this level I've been wokring on, and one day Radiant decides not only to crash but to save the .map file with only 3 of the original brushes init. Fortunately, the .bsp file is fine, so I can still test the work-in-progress. I'm wondering how (is it even possible?) I can use the uncorrupted .bsp to make a .map file that retains all the work I put into the level. Help is aprreciated

Well, on Lucasforums, I saw that it works, but had problems like every face is turned into numerous panels, entity problems etc. I tried it and got an error that wouldn't let me start.

Mine crashes a lot too. You get used to it.

Oh, and you can't cleave curves.

It won't work because JO uses a different BSP format. This is the reason it took ydnar so long to add Q3Map2 support.
