i need to doors(like hangar bay doors) that are on top of a hangar to slide open so a vehicle can rise up an fly out. i need to be able to have them closed at the start and be able to open/close them with a switch. its a mp level for jedi academy. i also need to know how to make a simple elevator and a really easy and quick way to make stairs in easy to understand format, because i have read the tutorials and have no idea what they are talking about, they confuse me.

Just make a button that triggers a door.How to make buttons is described in the Massassi Elevator tutorial. Stairs are easy, and if you're extremely lazy, you can even use the GTK plug-in for it.
