i'm a complete noob with editing
i know most people hate noobs asking "dumb" questions. i want to know what programs are required in making a jedi outcast skin. i know that making a skin will be easier than making a level

OK, you need an image editor:

Photoshop: Expensive
Paint Shop Pro: Cheap
Gimp: Free

Demos are available for all.

Then you need ModView in the JK2 Editing Kit 1.

Then follow the tutorials on the web...
