Surface Textures

How do I shink textures in GTK. I tried the surface inspecter, but it just enlarged them when I tried to change the scale.

Yeah, I know this thread is somewhat old (3 days),but I can't shrink Textures in GTK. Could you please give me step by step instructions. I need to make a doorway like this. [http://www.massassi.net/ec/images/14004.jpg]

I'm not a mapper but I felt bad that no one helped you so I'll try my best.

First of all you should make the brush the same size as the the texture file. That door your trying to make is in one of the imperial texture sets.

Once you get that size in pixels of that texture make the door brush that same size in GTK.

You should have a door then.

Then look at this tutorial on adding door functions http://www.massassi.net/tutorials/jo_doors/

Select that surface, apply the door texture, Hit Shift+B and press OK.

I always make the door brush, put the door texture on it, select the surface, hit shift+s and hit "fit". That's it...

da*mi*, I'm sorry I must of stated my question wrong, I made the door, but I just need to make the lights around the door.
