Patch Meshes
2004-03-09, 2:28 AM #1
In case your wondering, i laredy know how to contruct the various types of patch mesh, but cannot figure out how to texture said patch meshes. I've read several tutorials, as well as the manual included with Radiant, but while it tells me about a "CAP" option in "surface inspector", I can't seem to find said option. I'm using the latest version of GTK Radiant (Raven JA edition).

Could anybody please tell me how i can texure these patch meshes?

it isnt so hard to do it.

-select the patch mesh
-press 's' to bring the surface inspector up

normaly you need to work in the 'brush' section. below it there is the 'patch'sextion

-click on 'set' in the patch section
-now set the values for how many times you want the same texture
-click on 'OK' and then on done

EVIL, EVIL, EEEEVIL.

Did I mention it's evil?

(It is, since that only works in old versions of GTk, or JK2*shiver*radiant)

Nope, I'm running the latest version of GTK (and for some reason, s DOES bring up surface inspector which looks like the following:

So, any thoughts on where my Patch Mesh options are?

Wel, i read your post, and i reinstalled radiant 1.4.0 (and yet s still brings us surface inspector).

Now, i ask again: how do i texture patch meshes in 1.4.0?

*scratch that. i seem to have a short attention span. thanx, i'll try what was in your first post [http://forums.massassi.net/html/redface.gif]
