hi im kinda new to mapping i mean ive done 2 maps for JO but they wernt that good but i got some advice from GothicX and he showed me a website full of tutorials (rich diesal) and i must say they really helped anyway ive started from the begining and i am now upto 'Curves 201' and the first lesson is domed ceilings and the way the person explained it was confusing to me and the reason may be that im using GTKradiant instead of JK2radiant. could anyone explain it in a simpler form thanks.

if anyone wants to contact me through msn my email address is godmanner@hotmail.com

thanks [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

if you want help you need to be a little more specific on what didn't make sense. it would be even more helpful if you linked the article in the thread and made note of whatever was confusing. there are multiple ways to make domes, so it isn't like we can just spit simple asnwers back at you.

i don't see the problem. all that tutorial is showing is simple vertex manipulation and adding a cap. if that doesn't make sense, i would suggest reading over some tutorials covering simple patches, and then try this again.

Basically, in that tutorial, nothing.
