Lighting problems!!

I'm having a tough time getting my levels lit properly. I can't get shaders to light it bright enough, and using light entities looks unrealistic. Does anyone know of good lighting tutorials for Q3 engine games? Any good advice on how to do nice lighting?

thanks,

Light entities unrealistic? That's a new one to me. I've only found them unrealistic if not placed logically.

If you shader lights arn't bright enough then up the surfacelight value.

ent lights can't always be logicaly placed.
IMO, it's not the net lights arn't realistc but that shader lights are more realistic.
