make your image, the size of it must be to the power of 2 which means each side must be either 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512 or 1024.
they don't have to be square.

then make a folder named what eer you want in your textures folder in you base folder so it's base>textures>your folder
put your textures in that folder and open GTK Radiant, in the textures drop down you should see the name of your folder, open it and there you go.

you might also have to put a line in shaderlist.txt to get it to show up in the radiant list.

just add the name of the folder you put your textures in

I don't think you HAVE to do anything to shaderlist.txt unless you made a new shader.
Oh, and the image files have to be a .jpg or a .tga, or the game (and Radiant) won't read them.
Kudos for using GTKRadiant instead of JK2Radiant!

Anything, as long as it's a .jpg or .tga. I've heard good things for Photoshop and Jasc Paint Shop. Put the finished product in the textures folder of a new .pk3 in your base directory. [edit] I mean textures/yourfolder in the .pk3. [/edit]Use GTK to put the textures in a level, compile, and enjoy!
