Textures aren't loading properly
2004-06-18, 10:46 AM #1
I recently downloaded GTK Radiant version 1.4.0 and installed it for Jedi Knight II. However, when I try to load any textures, they all show up as the red and black checkerboard pattern, which I believe means it isn't finding the textures where it is told to look.

In File -> Project Settings I have the basepath set to "D:/Lucasarts/Jedi Knight 2/GameData/base/" (where I have it installed), and I've reinstalled it to make sure I did it correctly, but the textures still aren't loading right.

Also, I have GTK Radiant 1.2.13 installed and it works just fine. I've tried comparing the project settings and they are effectively the same. Does anybody know how to direct Radiant 1.4.0 so that it sees the textures?

Ive heard a lot of problems like that from textures. The path sometimes just doesnt get through when its not an average one.

All the entities are seen fine. I can place them and all of them are present in the list. Also, it lists all the different texture categories (bespin, kejim, etc.), it's just that when I try to load one up, it doesn't see the actual texture. It also sees how many there are and what they're called, but not the texture itself...
