I need someone that can explain easygen!

i have tryd hundreds of ways, but can somebody PLEASE help me with easygen for a JA level. The problem is, i can make a good hightmap, i can make a good design WITH textures, but the problem is, the exporting and further GTK radiant editing, it is somehow giving me problems, because when i load it in game, they all give me the black and white, sqaurish horror! Can somebody please give me a tutorial from the exporting to the loading. And for Jedi Academy and not for SOF or MOHAA.

I can except the fact that somebody thinks this is the stupidest quistion ever :(

Did you check this out?

Easy-gen has a little bug when exporting files. You have to do some work with the shader it gives.

After i have posted this, i am going to be really sorr that i ever posted it here: You know what my problem was with easygen, point one was that i allways changed the directory's in the map itself, point two was that i didn't download the rgoer templates:o ... hehehe, i am one big irritating kid.

Maybe its little outplaced, but is there a way to enlarge textures, because that repeating yavin stone texture is stupid

Enlarge textures on the terrain? I believe you do that in EasyGen.

By Frith, it's been forever since I even poked around here.

Thank you both for bringing this up, and extra thanks to you Echoman, for the link- believe I'd forgotten about that one. My overactive imagination has formulated a project to which the mastery of Easygen would be quite useful. Time will tell if I ever take any kind of step toward working on the actual project, but doing a couple small pieces of it would be a good time. (Seriously, finishing the whole thing would require the tireless efforts of at least five people.)

Anyway, regardless of wether or not I manage to break the chains of Star Wars Galaxies and free up some time, maybe I can crank out an interesting tidbit or two.
