Resizing textures
2005-06-29, 12:16 PM #1
First off, I'm using JK2 Radiant build 147.

I'm depending heavily on RichDiesal's tutorials, but can't find help with resizing a texture from within the editor.

That is, taking a texture that is 256 units tall, and making it appear smaller, the idea being the ability to use one texture in multiple sizes for multiple applications.

Additionally, is there any way to put two different textures on two sides of a brush?

Thanks, guys

First, use the more superior GTKradiant instead of JK2radiant. (www.qeradiant.com)

Usually, you can can do a quick scale by holding Ctrl and using arrow keys after selecting a surface. Use the Surface Inspector menu (press S), after selecting the surface, for better control for scaling textures.

Don't select the whole brush when texturing. Select only one surface (shift+ctrl).

GtkRadiant doesn't work for me.. it won't compile/build anything.

But thanks for the help with the textures - much appreciated!
