How do I submit my level?(to the dark side)

How do I properly submit my level to massassi? I have looked at "Pommeý"s tutorial at tried to follow it word for word. But when I posted my level no one could play it. I found that if I downloaded my level, then unzipped and unpaked it , I could load it the old fashion way by hitting shift+` and typing in "map mapnamë.bsp"

But how do I make it work straight off the .pk3 file?

Does the pk3 file have to be the same name as the bsp file? (maybe thats what I did wrong)

And do I need an ".arena" file in order to pk3 properly?

Please help as I have never been able to load other people levels straight from the pk3 myself and don't know how it works.

You didn't add the .arena file?

Im a bit confused on how to set up my .arena file. What are the game types? My level is a single player, do I just use the default one Pommey has in his tut? I though ffa stood for free for all.

Is the bot # the number of characters (enimies and friends) I have in my level besides the main character (kyle)

And is the frag limit the number of kills before the level ends? can I just count the number of charcters on my level and enter that as the frag limit?

You don't need an Arena file if you have a Single Player level, just make sure you have a complete compile of the game, put up all the files in the right folder, and make a custom Menu...

thanks, though so. But the level ".bsp" name has to be the same as the pk3 file in order for it to work as a mod right?

The only level I have ever downloaded and had it work as a mod for me is that Collosium level.

People actually use my tutorial?!

edit: I think my tutorial was only for MP maps. In any case, I can't understand what I wrote anymore. That was like 3 years ago.
