Before I had the 1.01 patch if I used the cheat "set force all 3" and then cycled saber styles (that is hit the L key) the styles would change like so:

Fast
Medium
Strong
Desann
Tavion
Dual
Staff

And then repeating starting at Fast

After installing the patch if I do the same thing the order is:

Fast
Medium
Strong
Desann
Tavion
Tavion
Tavion

And Tavion forever onward

If I understand correctly what is happening is that the patch made it so a single saber could not use the Dual style and as a result it bumps me back to Tavion, meaning that the next in the cycle is still Dual and the process repeats indefinitely.

I don’t like the idea of being stuck on Tavion indefinitely, and I do like to cheat in single player. (Without cheating there is nothing new in single player.)

What file do I have to change to get that one aspect back to how it was, or, if I can’t change a file, what file to I have to write to make that not happen?

I'd rather not just undo the patch outright because it expands the possibilities for saber incredibly.

yeah i have the same problem too
i found that it works again if you do 'kill' then change styles with 'setsaberstyle' but that's a real pain
also when i make new .sab's i noticed it stays on staff style if you have 2 blades and "twohanded 0" so i'm guessing since all this 'extra' info is not in the default saber configs maybe the updated engine is using a different default value
